My interest in photography stems from a desire to experience, capture, and share the world around us. I have been doing photography on and off since the early 1980s. Way back then, when I was in high school, I had my own wet darkroom. I took a bit of a hiatus from photography during my college and post-graduate years, but then digital drew me back in. In 2014, I started re-exploring the wet darkroom with black and white film processing, color film processing, and black and white printing.
In this collection of galleries you will find several of the personal projects that I am currently pursuing or have recently completed. I have a strong motivation to capture images that in some way tell a story, or at least make some kind of statement of how I feel about something. As they say, the camera looks both ways.
